Some symbols do not arise from imagination.
They are born from what has been lived.
The art of Larisa Runde leads through inner states, archetypes, light and shadow. It touches those layers that a person often already feels long before they can put them into words.
With texture, relief, light, ancient symbols, and powerful archetypal forms, she makes inner processes visible: fear and strength, destruction and new beginnings, chaos and harmony — the journey through darkness toward one’s own light.
Sometimes a symbol appears before
a person is ready to understand it.
Perhaps that is exactly why it stays within them.
This exhibition is more than a collection of works. It is a space of experience — a journey inward. A place where you pause, see, feel, and perhaps encounter something deep within yourself that has long been waiting for an answer.

The journey from inner state to form
Some symbols are not born in the mind.
They come from within.
I never begin my work with just an idea. First, a feeling emerges. An energy. An inner state. And only then — the form.
Sometimes a symbol appears earlier,
than a person is ready to understand it.
Some works emerge unexpectedly —
like a memory a person has carried within for a long time.
First, the energy emerges.
And only then — the image.
Inner states cannot be described with ordinary words. That is why there are so many textures, cracks, light, tension, and movement in my works.

Larisa Runde
I am Larisa Runde, an artist with roots in Kazakhstan. Since childhood, art has been a way for me to make emotions, experiences, and inner images visible.
In my work, I use mastic and palette-knife techniques, plaster, cement, and various textured materials. This creates expressive, multi-layered works with depth, movement, and emotional power.
Inspired by symbolism, runes, and spiritual themes, I create artworks that are more than decoration. Each work tells a story and carries a special energy within it.
My art arises from the desire to touch people and fill spaces with meaning.
